2 Quality Offerings From FUMC Clergy For The Lenten Journey

Four Wednesday Windows sessions will happen during Lent – Feb. 20 & 27 and March 6 and 20. Your appointed Clergy have taken hold of these four sessions and will offer two excellent options for your upward progress in Christ during Lent:

Senior Pastor Fred Durham will offer one option with a reprise of his “A Sure Hope – discovering what God wants for you and others in the Prayers of St. Paul” … the Lenten Luncheons topics of Tuesdays … for those who cannot attend the Lenten Luncheon series.

Pastors Caroline Noll & Clay Womack invite you to come “associate with the Associates!” (as in Associate Pastors) and explore with them Core Elements Of This Christian Tribe – child likeness, Spirit giftedness, community (not consumeristic comfort), and outreaching words & deeds.

“A Sure Hope” - Discovering What God Wants for You and Others in the Prayers of St. Paul

A Transformed Life Through Transformed Prayer - from the book by Kathleen Durham will be presented by Reverend Fred Durham. The book is available in the church office, at the Lenten lunches and in the Garden Room for a donation of $10 with proceeds benefitting the Youth Department.

Each session begins with lunch in Schreiber Hall at Noon for $5 per person, followed by inspirational music and the Lenten message. The program concludes at 1 p.m.

Child care is available on the 2nd floor for those who request it.
